Prof Sunil Saxena

Workshop Director

  • The Workshop Director is Prof Sunil Saxena, an award-winning media professional with over 45 years of experience across print, web content management and media education.
  • Some of the organisations where he worked are The Times of India, India Today, The New Indian Express, Indo-Asian News Service, The Pioneer, the Northern India Partika, and the Business India Group.
  • He led the New Indian Express group’s foray on the net for a decade where he was responsible for content management, advertising and application sourcing.
  • He was the Founder-Head of Bennett University’s Times School of Media, and Founder–Dean of the following three Media Schools – Asian College of Journalism, the International Media Institute of India and the GD Goenka University’s School of Communication.
  • He incubated the award-winning Gaon Ki Awaaz, India’s first voice-based news and information service for rural India that won two South Asian awards and one National award for innovation.
  • He has conducted scores of workshops in India and overseas for media professionals and in his last teaching stint he taught Content Marketing to PG students.
  • He has written four media books and his latest book is on Content Marketing.
